Well I am here and it is a beautiful place, it is so different yet so similar to South Africa. However it is crumbling and grand all at the same time. The people are so friendly and seem to smile and laugh easily. The colours are incredible it is actually a visual feast for me, the people are so well dressed and have such a sense of style I feel a bit shabby!
There are painting on walls and the women sway in their different fabrics, the children are really inventive with their games and Mozambicans seem to have mastered the art in relaxing.
We are driving in to the countryside tomorrow and are going for our 10 day trip trying to avoid mud. I have been taking a lot of research pictures and will attach some. They will all feed in to the books eventually. It is a great project and feel blessed to be a part of it.
